Peter it the Director of Marketing & Communications at the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCoS), which works with young people aged 0-25 and music educationalists to support and develop choral singing across Scotland. Since joining NYCoS in 2012 Peter has secured funding for and project managed the implementation of the organisation’s first centralised CRM system.
With twelve years’ experience in arts marketing, previous roles include specialist digital positions for Glasgow’s Concert Halls and the Celtic Connections festival. Past achievements include creating an integrated information management system to serve internal and external communication needs; building a web content management system from the organisation’s existing venue management software; and integrating sales and digital technologies to improve customer experiences.
Peter led the team responsible for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). Working with academic partners from the University of Strathclyde, the KTP project sought to establish and embed a framework to capitalise on and distribute digital content to support a range of organisational purposes including artistic, educational and financial objectives.
